Becky L. Yu focuses her practice in the special areas of US immigration laws for over twenty years. Her extensive legal experience in managing and processing various immigration petitions for large corporations such as Texas Instruments and i2 Technologies. Her typical daily practices concentrate on nonimmigrant visa petitions for visa types such as H-1B, TN, J-1, L-1A & L-1B and O visas and immigrant petitions based on Alien Labor Certification through PERM and immigrant petitions through special categories such as Alien of Extraordinary Ability, Advanced Researcher or Outstanding Professor, Multi-national Business Executives, and National Interest Waiver cases.
Mrs. Yu served in both corporate environment as in-house immigration counsel for Fortune 100 companies and +practiced immigration law with large national law firm and understands all aspects of US immigration laws. Becky’s background in both advising multi-national companies’ management team as in-house counsel and her reputable representation of major organizations in their immigration matters are invaluable asset to our Firm’s successful representation of any and all US immigration related matters that your organization might have.
Becky’s expertise also includes the immigration representation of the educational industries and she has been representing various public school systems, privately chartered school system and universities across the United States for over a decade and she has been the immigration attorney for the largest Regional Educational Service Center in Texas since 2007. She currently leads a professional team that handles all types of cases involving US immigration laws, from family based petitions to asylum, deportation and removals, in addition to all employment based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications. Her team also provides immigration compliance related trainings and onsite seminars including I-9 and audits and investigations by Department of Labor and/or US Citizenship & Immigration Service.
